Skill Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Skills Training Coordinators are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs. Support project implementation by facilitating relevant stakeholders to achieve the target of skill base training and protection to adolescent and families through a multipurpose approach.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with staff, host community pre-vocational training instructors in ensuring respective implementation plans in line with the project requirements and standards.
  • Assess training needs and partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs.
  • Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific skill training needs.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design ,develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks map out training plans for project.
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching.
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and track and report on training outcomesprovide feedback to program participants and management.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology.
  • Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers.
  • Manage training budget ,keep current on training design and methodology.
  • Provide technical support to the Pre-vocational instructors from host community on skills development related program interventions.
  • Support vocational training instructors to generate working documents to facilitate project implementation.
  • Motivate and ensure teamwork among pre-vocational instructors for greater ministry impact, in the Multi-purpose adolescent center.
  • Ensure quality in rolling out of the pre-vocational and occupational skill training within the established Multipurpose Children and Adolescent learning centres.
  • Track and manage activity to ensure timely and cost effective project implementation.
  • Participant in project management meetings, camp level education engagements and working group meetings within the respective camps.
  • Identify capacity gaps for pre-vocational training instructors and work with the Education Coordinator and Manager to ensure needs are met.
  • Mobilize community meetings with children and key stakeholders at all implementation levels.
  • Build the capacity of pre-vocational instructor on delivering the training with quality, help them to plan their training as per target Group needs.

Educational Requirement

    • The applicants should have a Masters Degree is essential. Diploma degree from a Polytechnic Institute or any equivalent training institute on different types of trade or bachelor degree in a related Field will be preferable.

Experience Requirement

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Past exposure to the Rohingya refugee situation and context with host community regrading skill development of youth and adolescent.
  • Awareness of disaster risk reduction.
  • Past experience working in team and collaboration with partners.
  • Experience of supervision and monitoring.
  • Key competencies of planning and organizing, communication skills, data gathering and analysis, problem analysis and problem-solving, judgment, Facilitation skills, presentation skills. Coaching skills and also Team player
  • Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location.
  • Must be willing and able to travel in camp locations in Ukhiya and Teknaf.
